Fourth of July BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos and a Giveaway

Pulled Pork Nachos Recipe
Nothing fuels a Fourth of July celebration like barbecue. If you’re searching for a simple and delicious addition to your holiday spread, try this recipe for BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos with Head Country Bar-B-Q Sauce. Best of all, enter to win a barbecue gift basket filled with Head Country sauces, spices and swag.

Thanks to the smoky heat of Head Country’s Hot & Spicy Bar-B-Q Sauce, I discovered I actually like pulled pork on my nachos better than traditional ground beef. Try the Original Sauce if you like a sweet, tangier flavor.

To get started, preheat the oven to 400 degrees and prepare the pulled pork. I used unsauced and unseasoned pulled pork I bought at the store, but if you have time use this pork shoulder recipe from Head Country’s website.

Next, spread tortilla chips on a baking sheet and top with cheese, black beans and pulled pork (mixed with Head Country’s Bar-B-Q Sauce). Bake for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

Top with pico de gallo, jalapeños and fresh cilantro.

As a fellow Kansas Citian, I love your blog! I recently tried out Brown & Loe for brunch this past weekend. Thanks for all your suggestions!

I would give it a try! I’ve never tried to sauce before so I’m not sure if I like it, but I bet someone at our 4rth of July party would even if I didn’t.
